Non-Surgical Treatment Isolated PCL injury is commonly treated without surgery. Physiotherapy plays major role which involves Rehab program specific to PCL injury. Â Treatment is focused to strengthen muscles in front of thigh and restore neuromuscular control under supervision of in-house Sports Physiotherapist. Surgical Treatment Dr Ranaware will perform Arthroscopic PCL reconstruction by removing torn part of the ligament and replace with tendon graft (auto graft). More robust and larger autograft is chosen to replace larger PCL ligament to counter gravity assisted backward force of shin bone.
