Treatment of Frozen Shoulder
As the frozen shoulder is self-limiting disease, most of the time it needs no surgical treatment.
Patient with frozen shoulder get relief with non-surgical treatment like:
rest, ice and medications
- Sometimes cortisone injection is given in the joint when there are severe symptoms in initial stage.
Supervised physiotherapy is strongly recommended during initial stages of adhesive capsulitis rather than home exercises for pain relief and maintain the shoulder joint movement.
