Supervised physiotherapy is strongly recommended during initial stages of adhesive capsulitis rather than home exercises for pain relief and maintain the shoulder joint movement.

If non-surgical treatment does not alleviate symptom and there is no improvement even after 4 to 6 months of regular physiotherapy Dr. Abhijit Ranaware may recommend arthroscopic shoulder surgery. In this technique tight and scarred capsule is release with radiofrequency device /Laser.  Immediately after surgery Anesthetist will take care of proper pain management.
